Welcome to the Rocky Rockers web page.
We are a social club that focuses on promoting Rock ‘n’ Roll and dancing within the local community.
The Rockhampton based club was formed in November 2003 with its inaugural meeting held on 05/01/04. It has evolved with a current membership of around 80+ people of all ages. It is a non-profit incorporated organisation that is run by volunteer members who have a passion for rock ‘n’ roll and dancing. Our members enjoy weekly dance classes and learn a variety of dances & routines predominantly based around the Rock ‘n’ Roll style. We have a reputation of being a friendly club where members dance with each other and make new people or visitors most welcome.
Objectives:
Rocky Rockers creates a fun social atmosphere for the enjoyment, enhancement and appreciation of rock ‘n’ roll dancing for participants at all skill levels.
If you’d like to get into rock ‘n’ roll dancing with us, then come along to a Tuesday evening dance class and meet some of our friendly members.

- To provide classes for members to learn and develop their dance skills
- To foster rock ‘n’ roll dancing within the community through the organising and staging of social dances and public demonstrations
